Kristina Lindsay, MA, HCDC, CDVP

Based out of Chicago’s North Shore, Kristina is both a certified High Conflict Divorce Coach and certified Domestic Violence Professional. She came to the field of high conflict divorce coaching through her career in the domestic violence world. After years supporting clients in domestic violence court and seeing the injustice and pain caused by a family court system that did not take abuse seriously, Kristina began to look for ways to advocate for change. Kristina has worked in high crisis environments such as civil/criminal court as well as multiple hospital systems providing crisis intervention for patients disclosing abuse. She also has extensive experience researching, developing, and facilitating high level trainings.

She has an expertise in strategizing, empowering clients, and a working knowledge of domestic abuse that is essential when dealing with high conflict individuals. Kristina provides nonjudgemental coaching from a trained Trauma Informed Care perspective. She is also qualified to safety plan and a certified assessor in the Danger Assessment, a tool utilized to measure lethality risk. Kristina provides a needed link from the domestic violence arena to family court- where the abuse of a high conflict individual can often go unrecognized.

“My feelings felt validated and I felt like I had a plan. Kristina was great and the best part of the coaching session was not feeling like I had to justify myself…she just believed me and supported me. “
